About SPR Auto Technologies
SPR Auto Technologies Limited makes pistons, piston rings, piston pins and engine valves. They go into engines used in automotive, off-highway vehicle, farm equipment and genset applications, and the company also supplies railway, marine and defence engines. It reports one segment, automotive components. Its customers are original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket buyers of replacement parts, in India and abroad.
The company has eight subsidiaries, four of them step-down subsidiaries. They make precision injection-moulded plastic components, specialty moulds, motors and controllers for electric vehicles, automotive interior systems such as headliners and sunvisors, and interior lighting.
The registered office is in New Delhi. The company's own works are in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Pathredi in Rajasthan. Subsidiaries run plants in Neemrana in Rajasthan, Noida in Uttar Pradesh, Chakan in Maharashtra and Coimbatore, and a mould tool room in Bahadurgarh in Haryana. The company serves customers in 28 states and 8 Union Territories of India and in 45 countries.
It was incorporated in 1963. It acquired the mould maker Karna Intertech Private Limited in April 2025. In January 2026 it acquired 100% of three entities of Spain's Grupo Antolin that operate in India, which brought in the interior and lighting businesses. It took its present name in April 2026. It works with technical collaborators in Japan, including NPR-RIKEN Corporation, Fuji Oozx Inc. and Honda Foundry Co. Ltd.
