Goal planning calculator
A goal that costs a sum today will cost more when you reach it, because prices rise. This works out the future cost and what to invest to meet it.

How it is worked out
Future cost = cost today × (1 + inflation)^years
Monthly SIP needed = future cost ÷ (((1 + i)ⁿ − 1) ÷ i × (1 + i)), with i the monthly rate and n the months; one-time sum needed = future cost ÷ (1 + r)^years
