About Eternal
Eternal Limited operates four businesses: food delivery, quick commerce, going-out and business-to-business food supplies. A further segment, called Others, holds newer initiatives, including Bistro, a quick food delivery service, and Nugget, an artificial intelligence platform for customer operations. The company was incorporated in 2010 and has its registered office in New Delhi.
Food delivery runs under the Zomato name. Customers discover local restaurants, order food and have it delivered. Quick commerce runs under the Blinkit name and delivers products such as daily essentials, electronics and beauty and personal care items from stores located typically within 3 km of the customer. In the year to March 2026 Blinkit moved from a marketplace model to owning its inventory. Going-out runs on the District app, which covers dining-out, movies, sporting events, live events, outdoor activities and shopping. Hyperpure supplies food ingredients and other products to restaurants.
As of March 2026, food delivery is present in more than 900 cities across India, Blinkit has 2,243 stores in more than 250 cities, and Hyperpure has 11 warehouses across 8 cities. District is also available in the United Arab Emirates, where it offers dining-out and live events. The company had a headcount of 22,470 in the year to March 2026.
Eternal acquired Blinkit in August 2022. In August 2024 it closed the acquisition of an entertainment ticketing business, which is reported within going-out. At 31 March 2026 it had 16 direct subsidiaries and 4 step-down subsidiaries. Deepinder Goyal, its founder, is vice chairman and a non-executive director. He resigned as managing director and chief executive effective 1 February 2026, and Albinder Singh Dhindsa has been chief executive since that date.
