Tech Mahindra Limited provides technology consulting and digital solutions to global enterprises across industries. Its services include consulting, information technology, enterprise applications, business process services, engineering services, network services, customer experience and design, AI and analytics, and cloud and infrastructure services. It serves telecommunications, manufacturing, technology, media and entertainment, health and life sciences, banking, financial services and insurance, and retail.
The company reports two business segments: information technology (IT) services and business process services (BPS). Business process services cover contact centre operations, technical support, enterprise back office operations and revenue cycle management. It also offers TechM Orion, an agentic AI platform for designing, orchestrating, governing and scaling AI agents. Services are delivered through a globally distributed delivery model.
The company operates in 90 countries and has more than 146,000 people. Its operational presence is grouped into three regions: the Americas, Europe and the rest of the world. Its registered office is in Mumbai, and it has a campus in Pune with a Communications Experience Centre.
It was incorporated in 1986. Satyam Computer Services Limited merged into the company with effect from 1 April 2011. In May 2026, the company acquired 85 per cent of Avant, a Canada-based firm specialising in payments modernisation and wealth platforms, through its subsidiary Tech Mahindra Consulting Group Inc. Tech Mahindra is part of the Mahindra Group, which was founded in 1945. The Mahindra Group is a multinational federation of companies and operates in more than 100 countries.
