About Lenskart Solutions
Lenskart Solutions Ltd. is a technology-driven eyewear company. Its model is direct-to-consumer: customers discover, try and buy eyewear through stores, apps and websites, and the company also offers eye tests so that people can find out whether they need vision correction. Eye tests are extended to children aged 8 and above across its stores in India.
The business brings together design, manufacturing, technology, supply chain and retail in one integrated platform. Its Bhiwadi facility is a centralised manufacturing and supply chain site that supports prescription eyewear production, from lens coating and edging to assembly and dispatch, with 75% automation. Remote eye testing is deployed in 623 stores in India, where optometrists connect with customers in store from a centre in Kolkata. The supply chain delivers next day in 78 cities.
India is its largest market, with 2,609 active stores. The company also operates in select international markets, with its presence extending across Southeast Asia, Japan and the Middle East, and it serves customers in over 16 countries.
It is building a house of brands: Owndays, Meller and Hooper sit alongside the Lenskart brand. Meller, a sunglasses brand with Barcelona-born design, was acquired and added to the platform, and it was launched across India, the Middle East and Japan. The company has also launched B by Lenskart, its first AI-powered smart glasses. It became a public company in the year to March 2026, and Peyush Bansal is its Chairman, Managing Director and CEO.
