About Jain Resource Recycling
Jain Resource Recycling Limited recycles non-ferrous metals, which are metals other than iron and steel, from scrap. Its platform covers lead, copper, aluminium, tin and plastic. Its products include lead and lead alloy ingots, copper and copper ingots, aluminium and aluminium alloy ingots, and tin ingots. These are used in industries such as automotive, electronics, energy storage, electricals, infrastructure and renewables.
The company is the flagship entity of the Chennai-based Jain Metal Group. Its manufacturing operations are at Gummidipoondi, near Chennai. Its lead ingots are sold under the JAIN 9997 brand, which is registered with the London Metal Exchange. It buys scrap through a sourcing network that spans more than 120 countries and sells to buyers in 20 or more countries.
The company holds a wholly owned subsidiary, Jain Green Technologies Private Limited, which recycles aluminium and also carries the company's work on value-added copper products. Jain CY Circular Solutions Private Limited is a joint venture with C&Y Group Investments Inc. to run a copper scrap recycling facility in Ahmedabad. The company also holds a 25 per cent equity stake in Abraj Al Khaleej, Kuwait, which gives it a right of first refusal on recycled materials from the Middle East.
The business began in 1953 as a partnership firm named Jain Metal Rolling Mills, which was later converted into a private limited company. It was incorporated in 2022. Its shares were listed on the NSE and BSE on 1 October 2025 after an initial public offering.
