Yearly rates to Mar 2026, per-share figures restated for splits and bonuses.

Return is price growth plus the average dividend yield. Change in P/E is (1 + price growth) / (1 + earnings growth) - 1, so the parts compound rather than add. Earnings growth over 3 and 5 years is on profit divided by shares in issue at both ends: the earnings per share stated for one end does not match that year's profit and share count.

About Godawari Power and Ispat

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited is an integrated steel and energy company. It was incorporated in 1999. The company began as a sponge iron producer and now covers iron ore mining, beneficiation, pelletisation, steelmaking, ferro alloys and power generation. It had a workforce of 7018 employees at the end of the year to March 2026.

Its products follow the steel value chain. Iron ore pellets have an installed capacity of 4.70 million tonnes a year, and the company also supplies them to third-party steelmakers. Sponge iron (direct reduced iron) has a capacity of 0.65 million tonnes and steel billets 0.575 million tonnes. The billets are rolled into M.S. rounds (0.40 million tonnes), H.B. wires (0.115 million tonnes) and structural rolled products (0.20 million tonnes). A further 0.11 million tonnes of capacity makes galvanised fabricated products. Silico-manganese ferro alloys are also produced.

The main plants are in and around Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where the pellet facility is at Siltara and the rolling mills are also at Siltara. Iron ore comes from captive mines, including Ari Dongri and Boria Tibu, and the company operates two captive magnetite iron ore mines. Its captive power includes 190 MW of solar, 49 MW of waste heat recovery, 28.5 MW of biomass and 1.5 MW of wind. Products are sold across India.

A 2 million tonne iron ore pellet plant was commissioned in December 2025, taking pellet capacity to 4.70 million tonnes. Hira Ferro Alloys Limited is a subsidiary.
