About JSW Cement

JSW Cement Limited makes cement, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), ready-mix concrete and construction chemicals for infrastructure, commercial and residential construction. It was incorporated in 2006. GGBS is made from blast furnace slag, a by-product of steelmaking, and partly replaces ordinary Portland cement in ready-mix concrete.

The cement range includes Portland slag cement, composite cement and ordinary Portland cement, along with a Portland pozzolana cement sold as JSW Max Super. Its ready-mix concrete is sold as Green Crete. The construction chemicals range covers tile adhesives, grouts, waterproofing products and mortars. As of March 2026 it had over 12,500 channel partners and over 7,500 direct customers, and it markets in 17 states of India and in the UAE.

The company began operations in 2009 with a grinding unit at Vijayanagar, Karnataka. Its plants now stand in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal and Rajasthan, with installed grinding capacity of 24.1 million tonnes a year. The integrated unit at Nagaur, Rajasthan, which began commercial production in the year to March 2026, is its first in North India. It also runs a clinker unit in Fujairah, UAE, through the joint venture JSW Cement FZC, and operates six limestone mines in India. Shiva Cement Limited, a listed subsidiary, has a clinker unit in Odisha. The company listed on the NSE and BSE through an initial public offering in August 2025.

JSW Cement is part of the JSW Group, and its Vijayanagar unit receives blast furnace slag from JSW Steel Limited. Parth Jindal, the Managing Director, is a promoter. A promoter is the person or group that set up a company or controls it.
