Firstsource Solutions Limited is a business process management company based in Mumbai. It works with enterprises in healthcare, banking and financial services, communications, media, technology, retail and utilities. Business process management means running a client's routine operations, such as claims handling, customer service and debt collection, on its behalf.
The company serves clients through four reportable verticals: Banking and Financial Services, Healthcare, Communications, Media and Technology, and Diverse Industries, which includes utilities, retail and other emerging segments. Each vertical combines domain expertise with AI platforms that run under Kairos, which the company describes as its operating system for AI-native business operations. The company presents its offer under the name Intelligence That Operates.
It operates in twelve countries: the US, UK, India, Philippines, Mexico, Romania, Trinidad and Tobago, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Turkey and the UAE. At the end of the year to March 2026 it employed 36,205 people of 94 nationalities, with delivery capabilities spanning more than 30 languages.
It was incorporated in 2001. In the year to March 2026 it completed two acquisitions. Pastdue Credit Solutions, a UK provider of white-label early arrears and debt collections services, was acquired in December 2025. TeleMedik, a US business offering clinical management, utilisation review and bilingual care management, was acquired in January 2026. Firstsource is a company of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, a conglomerate with businesses across several sectors.
