About Cupid
Cupid Limited manufactures and exports male condoms, female condoms, water based lubricants and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) test kits. It supplies to more than 110 countries, and its institutional customers include government agencies and international health bodies such as WHO and UNFPA. Its male condoms are available in various flavours, colours and ultra-thin options, and every condom is electronically tested for leaks, thickness and strength. Its long-standing tender business is in South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya, and its female condoms are supplied in Brazil's national health programme.
The business has an institutional side and a consumer side. The consumer business sells in India and began in the year to March 2024, when the company expanded beyond institutional buyers into personal care products such as toilet seat sanitisers, menstrual cups and hair removal sprays. These are distributed through general trade, modern retail and e-commerce, including Amazon, Flipkart and BigBasket, with more than 1.20 lakh retail touchpoints, over 55 super stockists and over 850 distributors.
Its manufacturing facility is at Sinnar, Nashik, Maharashtra. It spans over 100,000 square feet and makes condoms, lubricants and IVD kits. The company has acquired land in Palava, Maharashtra, where a new production facility is under construction. It also has a subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates.
It was incorporated in 1993. Aditya Kumar Halwasiya is its Chairman and Managing Director.
