  "M/s Sujana Universal Industries Limited (SUIL) has after due search identified Vijay Home Appliances Limited (VHAL) having similar lines of business in Home Appliances for finalization of merger/arrangement of its appliances division. VHAL, a 48 year old domestic appliances marketing company, has strong marketing network across eight states. VHAL has enormous brand appeal in the south Indian market for its brand name "Vijay" and is a pioneer in introduction of convenience appliance like steam irons, rice cookers, geysers and other appliances which make life easy for working households. SUIL is in the process of evaluating the business value/assets of VHAL and its Appliances Division. Once this process is completed SUIL will finalise the draft Scheme and initiate the process for merger/arrangement.
