News Verification : The media had reports that "LIC Housing Finance has taken possession of Orbit Corporation's 25,670-square feet property in Lower Parel area of Mumbai after it defaulted on its loan.". The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Orbit Corporation Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We would like to inform you that LIC HFL has taken the possession.
