New Trailer Suction Hopper Dredger DCI Dr. XXI with 5500 Cu.M Hopper capacity has been delivered at Netherlands on 23/01/2014 and the vessel was inaugurated and joined the fleet on 5th March, 2014. With the addition of this dredger, the fleet of Trailer Suction Hopper Dredgers of the Company is increased to twelve from the present eleven. The other fleet consists of three Cutter Suction Dredgers and one back hoe dredger.

The Board of Directors of the Company are appointed by the Government of India and communicated by the administrative Ministry - Ministry of Shipping. Ministry of Shipping vide letter dated December 06, 2010 informed appointment of Dr. S. Narasimha Rao as Non-Official Part-time Director on the Board of DCI for a period of three years from the date of taking charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The above director have taken over charge on December 06, 2010. As such, the term of Dr. S. Narasimha Rao as Part-time Non-official/Independent Director was completed on December 05, 2013

Third Trailer Suction Hopper Dredger - DCI Dr. XXI with 5500 Cu.M Hopper capacity has been launched on August 08, 2013 at Netherlands. The Vessel is expected to be delivered in February, 2014.
