Exchange had sought clarification from Suzlon Energy Limited regarding news item captioned "SUZLON to list unit on LSE". The Company has clarified that "(1) At Suzlon we are in the process of rebalancing our capital structure and therefore our key priority is to drive volumes and growth while reducing our leverage and interest cost. Therefore, the Company is evaluating and exploring various options in equity capital and debt market. However it is too primitive and early to conclude on any one option right now with regard to listing.(2) Mr.Tulsi R Tanti, Chairman & Managing Director of the Company was visiting the Global Investor Summit in Madhya Pradesh and on the side-lines of the conference Mr. Tulsi R.Tanti was asked a query on fund raising to which he had responded. Mr. Tulsi R.Tanti has always been consistent in all his communications wherein he has clearly said that "we are exploring the possibilities", but unfortunately this statement has always been taken out of context. Besides it is too primitive and early to conclude on any one option right now with regards to listing of unit of Suzlon".
