Morgan Securities & Credits Pvt. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that they have given a financial assistance of Rs.10,00,00,000/- (Rupees ten crores only) by way of Inter Corporate Deposit (ICD) Facility to M/s. ISG Traders Limited. To secure the due payment of the said ICD Facility given by them to ISG Traders Limited, 20,10,000 equity shares of Star Paper Mills Limited were pledged with them as security. Since M/s. ISG Traders Limited has defaulted in making the payment in terms of the ICD Facility provided vide Agreement dated March 30, 2005, the pledge become enforceable including the right of sale of pledged shares. Accordingly, the company (Morgan Securities & Credits Pvt. Ltd.) have invoked the pledge of shares.
