  Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that the face value and the paid up value of the equity shares of Nirma Ltd. shall be changed from Rs.10/- to Rs.5/- w.e.f. March 14, 2007, pursuant to Scheme of Compromise and Arrangement.

  Nirma Ltd. has informed the Exchange that The Board of Directors of the Company has fixed March 22, 2007 as the Record Date: (a) For sub-division of the Equity Shares of the Company, from the face value of Rs.10/- per share to the face value of Rs.5/- per share, pursuant to the 'Composite Scheme of Arrangement, Reorganisation of Capital of the Company and Demerger and Transfer of Undertaking of Core Healthcare Ltd with the Company', approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Gujarat, upon the Scheme coming into effect. Accordingly, for every one equity share of Rs.10/- fully paid up and held by the Members as on the Record Date, the Members shall be allotted two equity shares of Rs.5/- each fully paid up. (b) To ascertain the names of Members who will be entitled to receive the Interim Dividend on the Equity Shares, if declared by the Board of Directors at its meeting scheduled to be held on March 09, 2007. The dividend, if declared, will be paid to the shareholders on and after March 28, 2007".
