Exchange has sought clarification from Maithan Alloys Limited with respect to announcement dated September 26, 2016, informing that due to heavy rains and flood, there has been severe damage to 132KV power transformer and other electrical equipment installed at our Visakhapatnam plant. The full damage is yet to be ascertained. The said transformer and other electrical equipment are fully insured. The production at the plant could be significantly effected over the next few months.On basis of above the Company is required to clarify following:1. Whether loss/damage covered by insurance or not including amount;The response of the Company is awaited.
