News about Lanco Infratech Limited. The media had reports that "Yes Bank Not to Renew Rs.250- cr Lanco Loan". The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Lanco Infratech Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "Lanco Infratech Limited pre-closed its outstanding Term loan with Yes Bank to the extent of Rs.205.42 Cr by obtaining lower interest rate Term Loan from another bank. The term loan was taken for a couple of Solar Power Projects, which are operating well and the cash flow from the Solar Power Projects are healthy. Other term loans of Rs.61.04 cr from Yes Bank for other Solar Power projects are continuing. The above fact was wrongly reported in Economic Times on October 12, 2015 as Yes Bank not to renew Lanco Loan which is misleading."12 Oct · News Verification
Exchange has sought clarification from Lanco Infratech Limited, with respect to recent news item captioned "Yes Bank Not to Renew Rs.250- cr Lanco Loan". In this regard, the Exchange has advised the Company to provide clarification/confirmation on the news item in detail including the following: a) Whether such negotiations were taking place and b) Whether you/company are aware of any information that has not been announced to the Exchanges which could explain the aforesaid movement in the trading. The response from the company is awaited.
