Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 22, 2012, inter alia, has considered and approved a proposal for the issue of Equity Shares on 'rights basis' for an amount not exceeding Rs. 500 crores ("Rights Issue"). Pursuant to the Rights Issue, the Equity Shares shall be offered to eligible equity shareholders of the Company (including renouncees), subject to the necessary sanctions, approvals and applicable provisions of law. Further, the Record Date, issue price per Equity Share, Rights Issue ratio, timing and other modalities for the Rights Issue shall be finalised by the Board or a duly constituted Committee thereof. SBI Capital Markets Limited and Religare Capital Markets Limited have been appointed as the Lead Managers to the Rights Issue.
