Exchange has sought clarification from IVRCL Limited with respect to recent news item captioned "IVRCL to exit BOT assets to focus on water projects". The Company has clarified that (1). As part of strategic business plan to monetize assets, IVRCL proposed to divest its stake in certain BOT Assets and Water Projects. The same has been mentioned in press release dated April 01, 2013 under copy to stock exchanges. Therefore, the news is already in public domain. (2). Exchange had sought clarification from IVRCL Limited with respect to an announcement regarding press release dated December 18, 2014 titled "IVRCL Limited entered into a binding agreement to sell its equity stake in Chennai Water Desalination Limited with a total Project Cost of INR 550 Crores to Utico FZC". On the basis of the above the Company was required to clarify following; 1. Exact amount involved in the Transaction and corresponding holding. 2. Also the impact on the Company by such transaction. The Company has clarified that The deal value is Rs. 150 Crores for the 100% equity of the Company. IVRCL Limited holds 75% equity in Chennai Water Desalination Limited. The impact on IVRCL Limited by this transaction is that, it will reduce the consolidated debt burden of Rs. 246 Crores from balance sheet of 2014-2015 and infuse liquidity into the Company due to monetization .19 Dec · Legal
