      Gammon India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that "Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited (Gammon), a subsidiary of Gammon India limited and Macquarie, a global leader in infrastructure acquisition, funding and management, have formed an exclusive alliance to bid for the grant of rights for the development, operation and management of Chennai Airport, which is the next expected privatization opportunity in the Indian airports sector. According to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed recently, Macquarie and Gammon will hold equal equity stakes in the project. The consortium may also look to tie up with a leading airport operator".

      Gammon India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that: "The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has on 23rd March, 2007, admitted the appeal of Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited (GIPL), the Company's subsidiary, and passed an interim order directing the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to process GIPL's draft 'Red Herring Prospectus' expeditiously. This appeal was filed by GIPL against SEBI's order dated 21st December, 2006, which denied GIPL access to the capital market for a period of one year from therefrom".

The postal ballot form duly completed should reach the Scrutinizer before the close of working hours (17.30 hours) on or before March 26, 2007.
