Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today i.e., November 28, 2011 has approved grant of 708,380 Stock Options (convertible into equivalent number of equity shares of Rs.10/- each of the Company) to the Eligible Employees including wholetime Directors of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Eligible Employees"), pursuant to the "Essar Ports Employees Stock Option Scheme -2011". Further the Board of Directors and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors has approved grant of 31,954 Stock Options (convertible into equivalent number of equity shares of Rs. 10/- each) to the Eligible Employees subject to the approval of the Members of the Company. These Stock Options have been granted at an Exercise price of Rs.71.10 per equity share of face value Rs.10/- each (i.e. the closing price of the equity shares of the Company on November 28, 2011 on the National Stock Exchange Limited, which had the highest quantity of trading in Company's Share).
