      The meeting of Board of Directors of Emco Ltd was held on 7th February 2007 and the Board authorised the Managing Director of the Company for strategic investment upto Rs. 100 Crores in the electrical equipment industry and to execute all necessary documents, agreements etc in this behalf.

      Emco Limited had informed the Exchange that: "The ESOP (Compensation) Committee of Directors at its meeting held on 01st February 2007 has granted total 4000 stock options covering right to apply for equal number of Equity Shares of the Company i.e. each option carrying right to apply for one Equity Share to Mr. Sunil Rustagi, Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Against each such stock options, he will have right to apply for and get allotted one equity share at an exercise price of Rs.870/- (Rupees Eight Hundred and Seventy Only). The vesting period for the said options is in graded manner within the period from the respective grant and as prescribed in grant letter, subject to minimum vesting period of one year".
