News Verification : The media had reports that INOX Leisure Limited or PVR Limited is looking forward to buy stake in Cinemax India Limited. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Cinemax India Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We hereby confirm that, Company is not aware of any stake sale/takeover to/by any other multiplex chain. We have also checked with the Promoters of the Company and have been informed that there is no transaction that has been executed in relation to stake sale."
